REDWOOD EMPIRE BOULES CLUB ? SINCE 1988Mesdames & Monsieurs! The Redwood Empire Boules Club is pleased to invite you to celebrate the coming of summer and enjoy what promises to be a memorable weekend of boules and camaraderie. We are proud to host the FPUSA 2012 Northwest Regional Men?s and Women?s Doubles Tournament on Sunday, June 24th, in Fort Bragg, a charming seacoast town located 150 miles north of San Francisco on California?s beautiful Mendocino Coast.But wait?there?s more! Come early and play in the first annual Skip Wollenberg Memorial Open on Saturday, June 23rd. This event will be a select doubles format, co-hosted by the REBC and the Noyo YoYos, the fun, slightly rag-tag Mendocino Coast club. The format is select doubles, which means the team can be any combination of age and gender. Prizes: Cash! As well as, Mendocino County wine for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners; raffle chances for everyone to win a 2-night stay at a local inn, Mendocino wines, art and more. Check-In: Ends at 11:30 am; games start at 12:00 pm sharp.Food and libations: Due to the late start, there will be no lunch break. Players are responsible fortheir own lunch. Water will be provided; soft drinks and snacks will be available for purchase throughout the day. When you reach Highway 1 at the mouth of the Navarro River go North to the North Mendocino Coast and Fort Bragg.The Willits/Highway 20 route: Stay on 101 north to Willits and turn west on Highway 20.
