Generally speaking what is considered to be the most difficult shot in petanque.

We all know that replacing your opponents boule with your own is extremely satisfying (when it works) but what about shooting a back boule and spinning back and finishing about a foot in front of the coche?

Yeah, that's quite a difficult shot...

I saw Marco Foyot demonstrate it when I went on his course a few years ago. Very impressive.

Shooting 2 or more boules at an angle is also quite a test.

What about the most difficult shots for pointers?

I would say a high-lob on a hard, stony terrain is quite a test, also promoting a boule, especially when it is close to an opponent's boule. You have to be VERY accuract, both with weight and direction.

Regards,

Ray

Le petit Marceau (little Marceau) did even better and announced what he would do:

The score for Marceau'steam is 9 points. Marceau said he would shoot the boule past the jack, his boule and would come back(retro) and bring the jack back to the three boules that belong to his side, for 4 points! 9 + 4 = 13!!!
