We are under the impression that you can draw the circle a metre from the position of the cochonnet after the first end. Is this right?

After the first end the circle must be drawn around the point where the cochonnet finished at the previous end (article 7). There are some
permitted exceptions to this rule, which can be found in article 7 (a) and 7 (b).
